CELEBRATING A LEVEL RESULTS AT IMMANUEL COLLEGE

Immanuel College students are celebrating their A Level achievements as they look forward to the exciting next chapter of their education and careers.

We are congratulating students as they collect the results that mark the end of their post-16 education and the beginning of the next chapter in their lives.

This year’s cohort has achieved an impressive range of next steps, progressing to leading universities including Durham, York, Lancaster and Leeds, embarking on higher-level apprenticeships in accountancy, finance and computer science, and securing employment in areas such as dental nursing.

Overall, our post-16 students have achieved an excellent set of results, reflecting their hard work, dedication and resilience. At A Level, nearly half of all grades were awarded at A*-B, with 78% achieving A*-C and a 100% pass rate, including particularly strong performances in English language/literature and mathematics, where many students secured top grades.

Results in BTEC and equivalent qualifications were equally impressive, with almost two-thirds of grades achieved at Distinction*/Distinction level, 97% at Distinction-Merit and a 100% pass rate. These outcomes are a testament to the commitment of our students and staff and provide a strong foundation for their next steps

Among this year's achievements:

  • Hollie Jackson has secured a place to study creative writing after achieving an outstanding A* in English, alongside A grades in film studies and media studies.
  • Katy Charnock will progress to study psychology, having achieved an A in psychology, an A in criminology and B in media studies.
  • Ethan Oddy is set to study engineering after attaining A grades in biology, mathematics and physics, together with a B in further mathematics.
  • Aminah Parvez will be pursuing dentistry, having achieved A grades in biology and mathematics and a B in chemistry.
