Trussell Trust Foodbank 2025

Students and staff have been fundraising for the Trussell Trust throughout December. Form groups worked together to organise a foodbank collection, generously donating Christmas treats and essential food items to support local communities.

A massive thank you to all the students and form groups who have come together to donate to this fantastic cause. Donations are still being counted and will be delivered to the food bank on Friday morning. The winning form will be announced in January. Your generosity and teamwork are very much appreciated.

In addition, staff and Post-16 students took part in a Christmas jumper day, and raffles were also run across the school, helping to raise further funds to support families facing crisis.

As we go to press, we have raised an incredible amount of £629.67 towards the charity alongside all the many donations of food towards their foodbank initiative!

December 2025

Before Christmas, we ran our annual foodbank appeal, encouraging students to donate to our local foodbank in partnership with The Trussell Trust. We are proud to announce that, collectively, 245.2 kg of food and essential toiletries were donated, enough to provide 118 days of emergency food for people in crisis.

Our Christmas Jumper fundraiser also raised £688.85 for The Trussell Trust.

Your generosity is making a real difference, helping The Trussell Trust support those in urgent need.

Last year, thanks to supporters they were able to:

• 6,090 three-day emergency food parcels were distributed, providing 18,270 days of food to individuals and families.
• 266 Christmas parcels were shared, bringing festive food and comfort to 756 people during the holiday season.
