KS3 Athletics 

A huge well done to our KS3 students who competed in the Bradford Schools Athletics Championships!

The team performed brilliantly, showed fantastic determination throughout the day, and represented Immanuel with real pride.

Special shoutouts go to Liam, Leila, Ebube, Thea, Belle, Chichi and Charlie, who all powered their way through to the finals of their events, an incredible achievement!

Y10 Boys Football

The Year 10 boys’ football team showed great character and delivered an excellent performance in their cup final against Beckfoot Bingley, battling back from 2-0 down to level the match at 2-2.

Although the boys narrowly lost 8-7 on penalties, they carried themselves in a manner they should be incredibly proud of throughout. Their sportsmanship, resilience, and support for one another after the final whistle were fantastic to see.

A special mention goes to Richardo, who delivered an outstanding performance in his first competitive rugby match, showing impressive commitment and determination.

The Immanuel College Y9 Boys football team secured a place in back-to-back finals of the Bradford Schools Football Competition with a 3–2 semi-final victory over last year’s finalists, Beckfoot Oakbank. Goals from Harry D, Alexander S and Cole S sealed a hard-fought win and booked their place in Monday’s final.

The Year 7 Boys rugby team took to the field for their first tournament, competing against Beckfoot, Dixons Cottingley, and Carlton Bolling, and delivered an impressive performance. The boys showed great determination throughout, battling hard in every match and representing the school with pride.
