Bradford Schools Athletics Championships
Well done to the 36 students who represented the school at the Bradford Schools Athletics Championships. All students excelled but some special mentions must be given to Astrid G who won the Junior Girls 800m, Chichi O who won the Yr. 7 Girls 800m despite miscounting her laps and Vilem S who beat fellow Immanuel Student Max D in a dip finish in the Junior boys 100m final.

Year 7 Boys Cricket
It was the start of the cricket season for the Y7 team! Facing a very strong Hanson team who played exceptionally well. Every pupil played their bit with the bat and the ball and fielded well. The next fixture sees our U15 side take on Bradford Academy next Thursday...

Y8 Girls Football
In week 2 of their tournament, our Y8 Girls football team had a 3 -1 win against BBEC and a 0-0 draw with St Bede's and St Joseph's. Well done girls!

Year 7/8 Boys Basketball
The year 7 and 8 basketball team competed in the final of the Bradford Basketball League on Thursday 18th April against BBEC and showed fantastic perseverance and character against a very strong BBEC team. We came out second best but to finish runners up in what is many of the students first experience of competing in a basketball league is a fantastic achievement. All students were a credit to themselves and Immanuel College. Great effort boys, well done!
Y8/9/10 Cricket
Well done to the boys who represented Immanuel against Bradford Academy in the cricket fixture. The boys showed fantastic character throughout the game. Well done boys!

Y9 Rounders Team
Well done to the Y9 girls rounders team in their fixtures this week, they won against Hanson and lost against BVGA. Congratulations to Poppy, Molly and Holly for being acknowledged as the players of the matches by the opposition!

The Y9 Rounders team had the first two games of the Bradford schools rounders league, they drew against BFA and lost against St Bedes and St Joseph's.

Our Y8 Girls football team are involved in a tournament over the next 3 weeks in which they have kicked off with an incredible win against Carlton Bolling as well as drawing 0-0 with BFA in week 1. Good Luck for the next 2 weeks girl ⚽️🍀
