PSALM
Personal, Social, Health and Economy at Immanuel College gives our students the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to keep themselves healthy and safe and to prepare them for life and work in modern Britain.
It helps them to achieve their academic potential and leave school equipped with skills needed throughout later life.
Throughout the academic year our students will be invited to take part in activities, assemblies, lessons and workshops that are all aimed to reinforce themes of equality, diversity, inclusivity and mutual respect.
Some of these activities may include;
- Black History Month
- Diwali
- World Human Rights Day
- Holocaust Memorial Day
- LGBT+ History Month
- International Women’s Day
- Eid-al-Fitr
- IDAHOT Day
PSALM DAYS
We are investing in PSALM (Personal, Social And Life Matters) Days. The aim of these drop-down days is to provide dedicated time for key elements and to ensure quality and specialist provision is provided for all students through external organisations. The days do not replace PSHE provision, but augment and reinforce these themes.
