Immanuel Music is proud to be part of Bassline Symphony, an exciting collaboration with Bradford City of Culture and All-Star Entertainment. Over four weeks, 20 talented musicians from Years 8 and 9 have worked with DJ Sean Coy, learning to produce their own Bassline tracks using Ableton software.

Bassline music, which originated in Yorkshire and has thrived in Bradford for over two decades, was at the heart of this creative journey. As part of the project, students were invited to a special event at Beacon Wibsey, where their tracks were performed live during a DJ set by Y9 student Leila C. The performance also featured DJs, rappers from across the district, and the Orchestra of Bradford Music & Arts Service.

The project will culminate in a major performance at St George’s Hall this May, featuring top Bassline DJs TS7, Jamie Duggan, and DJ Q, alongside the Orchestra of Opera North.

To celebrate their achievement, all participating students received certificates and free access to music production software, helping them continue their Bassline journey.
