Ski Trip 2026

Over the February half-term, 35 students, along with four members of staff, went skiing to Monte Bondone in Italy. This is the third Year we returned to the same resort as we had such a good time previously!
We could not have wished for a better week! The sun was shining most of the week. One day, we had a total whiteout with over 2 feet of snow, making skiing conditions much harder and visibility poor. Our students coped excellently in those tough conditions!
At the end of the first day, we knew we had a very able group of skiers when the beginner group left the nursery slope behind and went on to learn on the advanced beginner slope. This is the first time we have seen our students make progress so quickly.
At the end of day two, both beginner groups had learnt how to master a ski lift and were skiing down blue runs.
Our intermediate and advanced groups were skiing some of the hardest red runs by the end of the week and showing how to perfect their ski jumps in a snow park and off-piste!
When we were not skiing, the karaoke machine came out again. We had so much fun at the karaoke that one of the ski instructors from last year joined us again for a sing-along!
Another favourite apre activity was having two fabulous meals in a restaurant, eating as much Italian pizza as they could!
We loved having Mr Lundie join us on the trip this year! What an excellent skier he is! 😊
We will be launching the 2027 ski trip very soon. Look out for more information coming soon.
