Great Big Dance Off

Our KS4 Dance Team returned to Great Big Dance Competition this year for the second time – and what a performance it was! Choreographing their own routine around the theme of “Split Personality”, the group showcased impressive technical skill, creativity, and performance quality. Their routine was powerful, polished, and full of talent, reflecting the dedication they’ve shown throughout rehearsals.

Taking to the stage at Victoria Theatre in front of a full audience, they performed with confidence, professionalism, and real stage presence. A special mention must go to Megan, who performed in both the KS3 and KS4 dance teams – an incredible achievement and a true testament to her commitment and passion for dance.

We are so proud of the entire team for representing the school with such professionalism and talent!

Great Big Dance Off

We are incredibly proud of our KS3 Dance Team, who recently entered the Great Big Dance Competition for the very first time this year! They trained tirelessly before and after school to create a powerful routine based on the theme of “Angel vs Devil”, exploring the internal battle of choices and consequences. What makes this even more impressive is that the students choreographed the routine themselves, showing fantastic creativity and maturity.

Performing on stage at Victoria Theatre in front of a full audience was an incredible experience for the team. They rose to the occasion, demonstrating outstanding commitment, teamwork, and resilience from start to finish. For their first competition, they truly did themselves and the school proud – and this is just the beginning!

Immanuel were involved in an entertaining 2–2 draw with Hanson on Monday evening. After Hanson took an early lead, the boys showed great character to fight back and go 2–1 ahead, with goals from Harry D and a composed penalty from Harry J. Despite creating chances to put the game to bed, Immanuel were unable to capitalise, allowing Hanson to equalise in the second half. A spirited performance and a hard-fought point for the team.
