Bradford Manufacturing Week 25

As part of Bradford Manufacturing Week, our students had the exciting opportunity to visit Abraham Moon & Sons this week, gaining a first-hand look at the world of local manufacturing.

During the trip, students explored the full journey of wool, from dyeing, spinning, and weaving to knitting and the design of beautiful apparel and upholstery. They discovered the care and craftsmanship involved at every stage, gaining valuable insights into both the manufacturing process and the creative world of textile design.

The visit offered an inspiring glimpse into careers in manufacturing and design, showing students how traditional skills and modern creativity come together to produce high- quality textiles. It was a fantastic way to connect classroom learning with real-world applications and see local industry in action.
