In a word, this year's French trip was, magnifique! The variety and breadth of activities that we partook in was impressive: Tasting snails; milking goats; making chocolate bars; singing Amazing Grace in an ancient basilica; we did it all!
Best of all, according to the students, was the full day we spent in the most-liked theme park in France, Parc Asterix. Sadly, some of our students could only stomach one or two rides! However, the majority of our Immanuel thrill-seekers managed to get on far more adrenaline-raising rides.
We were truly blessed to have had cracking weather, too. The clear blue skies led us to spend many of our evenings on the beach playing football, digging holes and being led in dance routines by the inimitable Miss Grimaldi.
All-in-all, this trip was one to remember. I'm sure the students have made many lifelong memories and we, as staff, are honoured to share this experience with Immanuel students.
