Y11 Geography Fieldtrips 25
Three groups of our Year 11 Geography students enjoyed fantastic field trips to Grassington this term. During their visits, students explored the River Wharfe, refreshing their understanding of physical geography, and collected valuable data in the village centre to support their fieldwork studies.
In addition to this, students also took part in a local fieldwork trip to Idle, where they investigated a contrasting environment and gathered data to compare different geographical settings.
Both trips offered students the chance to apply their classroom learning to real-world environments, develop key fieldwork skills, and deepen their understanding of human and physical geography in action.
