Catalyst Leaders
Recently, 8 Year 12 students took part in the Near Neighbours Catalyst flagship programme alongside students from Belle Vue Girls Academy. This programme offers dynamic and exciting training to the students and equips the students with the skills and confidence to take on leadership roles in school and the future. Led by professional trainers' catalyst is a 4-day training programme that emphasises the importance of ethic and religious diversity and the aim of this project is to develop the confidence of the students to lead as agents of positive change, develop their positive identity and enhance their employability skills.
It really was a fantastic course and the students all walked away investigating ways that they can impact positive change in school. We look forward to seeing what they do in the future.
