Learning at Immanuel

Spain Trip 2026

40 Year 9 students had the fantastic opportunity to explore and immerse themselves in Spanish culture during their recent trip to Andalucía.

Throughout the trip, the students demonstrated excellent character, embraced new experiences, sampled a variety of traditional foods, and even learned how to make paella from scratch. They also explored the art of Flamenco at a workshop in Seville.
In Málaga, students climbed the historic Alcazaba fortress, enjoying stunning, pictoresque views from the top.
In Gibraltar, the group enjoyed meeting the famous monkeys and enjoyed exploring the narrow streets of 'Britain in the sun'.

One of the highlights of the trip was the visit to the sprawling ancient palace of the Alhambra. Immanuel were treated to a guided tour around the extensive gardens and exquisite architecture of the Medieval Moorish complex.

All-in-all, the trip was, and will continue to be a firm favourite for Immanuel students.
