Jesus Christ Superstar 2026

The school production of Jesus Christ Superstar, performed from 17th–19th March, was a thoroughly impressive showcase of student talent across all year groups. Featuring performers from Year 7 through to Year 13, the production demonstrated not only the depth of ability and talent within the school.
From the very first note, the energy on stage was undeniable. The cast brought passion and commitment to their roles, with lead performers delivering compelling interpretations that captured both the emotional intensity and complexity of the story. Equally commendable was the ensemble, whose vocal strength, movement, and stage presence added to the overall performance.
A standout feature of the production was the live band, made up of students from Year 8 to Year 13. Their musicianship elevated the performance to another level, providing a professional sound that supported the cast throughout. The coordination between the band and performers was seamless, reflecting the many hours of rehearsal behind the scenes.
We also hosted afternoon performances for local primary and secondary schools, giving younger audiences the opportunity to experience live theatre and be inspired by their peers. The evening shows were a clear success, selling out and drawing enthusiastic audiences who responded with well-deserved applause and appreciation.
Behind the scenes, the hard work of staff and students alike was evident in every detail. This was a true community effort, and is a production which I am remarkably proud to have lead. Finally, sincere thanks go to our programme sponsors, whose support has helped make this and future productions possible. Overall, Jesus Christ Superstar was a remarkable achievement and a memorable highlight of the school year!
We look forward to welcoming you later in the Summer term to our final set of performances for this academic year!
