Facilities
At Immanuel College, our Post-16 students benefit from their own dedicated facilities, in addition to the excellent resources available to all students. Our purpose-built, state-of-the-art Post-16 new build provides an inspiring and professional environment tailored to support academic focus, personal development, and student wellbeing.
Exclusive Post-16 Facilities
Our modern Post-16 building is designed exclusively for post 16 students. It includes two spacious, fully-equipped workrooms, six high-quality classrooms, and a dedicated canteen offering a welcoming and social space for students to relax and refuel throughout the day.
Bespoke Canteen & Dining Experience
The Post-16 canteen, open daily from 8.45am to 2.30pm, provides a vibrant social hub for students, staff, and visitors. The menu offers a wide range of nutritious and delicious options, including healthy breakfast selections such as yogurt and granola pots, as well as lunch choices that combine familiar favourites with exciting new additions like fresh sushi, personalised pizzas, toasties, and colourful salads. Vending machines also provide convenient access to snacks and refreshments throughout the day.
Flexible Study Environments
Our Post-16 students have access to a range of dedicated study spaces designed to support their academic success:
- A flexible, supervised space ideal for independent study, one-to-one mentoring sessions, or collaborative learning. Staffed by our dedicated Pastoral Manager, this area also features exclusive Post-16 IT facilities.
- A large, calm environment for focused, independent revision and study, fully equipped with additional IT resources.
Sports & Recreation
We recognise the importance of physical wellbeing alongside academic achievement. Our recently upgraded sports facilities include our sports hall that supports a wide range of indoor activities, such as badminton, football, netball, basketball, cricket, volleyball, table tennis, gymnastics, and trampolining.
Beyond the sports hall, students benefit from exceptional outdoor amenities, including a multi-games area and extensive field space with multiple pitches and training zones — perfect for team sports, fitness sessions, or casual recreation.
