Young Voices 2026
Immanuel Music’s Young Voices Perform at Co-op Live Arena, Manchester
Young Voices have been working hard for their performance at Co-op Live in Manchester. 12 of our Y7 and Y8 musicians have been rehearsing hard since September for the choir concert with Miss Darbyshire learning a range of songs including Wicked, Pop and Disco medleys.
Immanuel students performed as part of a choir of 8000 young people from all over the country with artists Aneesa Folds and Alex Spencer. Aneesa is a member of the Grammy-nominated and Tony Award-winning Hip-hop group Freestyle Love Supreme whilst Alex is an Indie Singer-Songwriter whose music features in the Video game FC 25.
The students had an amazing time; “It was my first time going to the arena, it was great to go a large concert. Young Voices has helped my confidence a lot.”
Shout out to George D in Post-16 who has been supporting the Young Voices in rehearsal and on the trip!
