Sports Day 2026

Our annual Sports Day took place on Wednesday 9th July, with students competing in their house teams – Bonhoeffer, McMillan, Wilberforce and Nightingale – for the chance to be crowned Sports Day champions.

The day was packed with a wide range of events, including football, bench ball, rounders, badminton, dance, the maths challenge and journalism, alongside a full athletics programme featuring the 100m, 200m, 400m, relay, long jump, javelin and shot put. Throughout the day, students demonstrated tremendous determination, perseverance and character, giving their best in every event while supporting and encouraging their teammates.

One of the most impressive aspects of the day was the fantastic attitude shown by our students. Their conduct was exemplary throughout, and they represented their houses with pride, displaying excellent sportsmanship, respect and teamwork from start to finish.

After a closely fought competition, Bonhoeffer were crowned overall winners with 62 points. McMillan finished in second place with 52 points, followed by Wilberforce on 50 points, while Nightingale were just one point behind on 49 points.

Congratulations to Bonhoeffer on their victory, and a huge well done to everyone who took part. The day was a wonderful celebration of the school's values of perseverance, character and hope, and a fantastic way to round off another successful school year.
