On Tuesday 23rd September, ten Year 8 girls visited the School of Computing at Leeds University as part of an exciting initiative to inspire more girls to pursue STEM subjects. During the visit, students explored the logic and mathematics behind the ‘Game of Nim’, engaged in hands-on sessions on Machine Learning and AI with PhD students, and toured the campus. A highlight was seeing Medical Robotics in action and having the chance to speak with current students about university life and the wide range of courses available.
